The Band
Stacey Fergusson
With a gutsy vocal often compared to The Pretenders' Chrissie Hynde, Stacey stepped into her singing career with the opportunity presented by Main Stage Dream Tours. Having never sung with a band before January 2008, she made a quick rise up the learning curve, and with Don co-created the song One Ride about her journey. A native of Southern California since childhood, she married Don in 1999, and operates a video production business making memories into movies for milestone birthdays, weddings, business tributes, and other special occasions. Now, she’s “a mother, a lover, and a rockstar no longer under cover”! |

Don Fergusson
A drummer since childhood, Don began playing bass just months before signing up for the Main Stage Dream Tours experience. The Ride put him on a steep learning curve to master the bass lines of the set list and hold down the rhythm section with drummer Jesse. In his former life, Don spent twenty years as a business executive with a well-known Midwest paint company, before moving to Southern California and connecting with Stacey in 1994. When he's not playing bass, he's a life & relationship coach, management consultant, spiritual psychologist, sailor, and father to his two adult children from his previous marriage and his child with Stacey. Known as Don Cliché to his bandmates, he occasionally speaks in a mysterious foreign accent with provocative yet senseless utterances, such as "Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana." |

Jon Payne
Major Payne, as he's known to bandmates, originally hails from a town near Liverpool, but has long since lost his cockney accent as a veteran resident of Santa Barbara. A singer and guitarist extraordinaire, Jon has more than 20 years experience playing in Santa Barbara-based bands including The Fuzz and his current eclectic ensemble Monkey C. An experienced sailor, Jon runs a rigging and yacht management business in the Santa Barbara marina, and is best known for his sarcastic sense of humor (and enjoying Don's rum cocktails). He lives happily ever after with his partner Nellie and their two children. |

David Hekhouse
Known by his bandmates as the Heckle part of the Heckle and Jekel team (see below), David plays lead guitar, sings, directs and coaches The Ride, and launched Main Stage Dream Tours with Jesse in 2008. A native of Connecticut, David moved to Southern California years ago, became managing partner of the Jensen Guitar store in Santa Barbara, runs programs that introduce local kids to playing rock and roll on stage, and is a long-time member of the rock band The Tearaways. He’s married to his college sweetheart, Lisa, and enjoys a busy life with his three kids. |

Jesse Benenati
Jekel adeptly commands the rhythm section with his hard-hitting rock
drumming. A long-time member of The Tearaways with David, Jesse's easy going
style makes for a smooth Ride. Running a successful paint contracting business
by day, he seldom seems affected by the fumes – he comes by that winning
smile naturally. He lives with his lovely wife, Mary, and three kids in Santa
Barbara, where his protégé drummer son launched the "as seen on MTV"
band Them Terribles. |
